Marketing has so many pieces and parts, that it’s sometimes difficult to be sure we’re tapping every source while still maintaining a careful budget. Because so much online is free, don’t overlook internet and social networking sites for your marketing.
First, while this part isn’t free, be sure to not only get a web site created, but also get it up and running. We see so many clients who purchase web site design, then never get around to giving the designers the information they need. This results in a constant “site under construction” message that makes offices functioning for months look like they just opened their doors.
You can have all your patient history and introductory forms on the web site for patients to print, fill out and bring in. Some interactive sites even allow the information to be loaded directly into the patient’s electronic chart. Even if your site is still pretty basic and you don’t have forms loaded onto it, consider emailing initial paperwork to the new patient…..it makes life easier for them and saves you postage!
